Dr. Beckett returned to his home state in 2018 after having spent the majority of his career optimizing the health and performance of elite athletes across the country. He specializes in the assessment and rehabilitation of athletes and active individuals of all ages, and treats a variety of complex cases that have not yet responded to conservative treatments.
STRENGTH COACH
Louise earned her Master’s in Exercise Physiology from Adelphi University. She has been in the fitness field for over 10 years with experience in personal training and rehabilitation in a variety of settings including corporate wellness, fitness studios, and physical therapy clinics. Louise also has experience coaching a variety of high school, college and recreational athletes; she has a particular interest in maximizing the performance of endurance athletes, being as she is a marathoner herself. Her mission is to lead by example, helping individuals at any age develop healthier lifestyles and reach their own goals.
REGISTERED DIETITIAN
Alexis’ interest in sports nutrition began early on as she was a competitive three sport athlete in high school and was always intrigued to see how different foods impacted performance, gut health, and how she felt. This carried onto college as she went on to play Division 1 softball at the University of Maine Orono.
Alexis’ professional experience began after receiving Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nutrition and completing a dietetic internship to become a Registered Dietitian. Since starting private practice and working as the sports dietitian for Colby College, she have worked with hundreds of recreational and competitive athletes, all with unique goals and nutritional needs.
YOGA INSTRUCTOR
PERFORMANCE PHYSICAL THERAPIST
Liz was born and raised in Falmouth Maine and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences from Northeastern University. She is also a 500 hr yoga teacher, Certified Functional Strength Coach and Champion Performance Specialist. She holds certifications in dry needling level 1&2, Blood Flow Restriction and Healing Yoga 1&2, and has pursued further continuing education in running and pain neuroscience.
MENTAL PERFORMANCE
Meghan is the founder of Stride, a mental performance practice that helps athletes and performers strengthen the mental side of their game. A former multi-sport athlete and varsity ice hockey player at the University of New England, she holds a B.A. in Psychology (with minors in Coaching and Public Health) and an M.A. in Sport and Performance Psychology from the University of Denver. She has experience working with high-performing youth and young adult athletes across multiple sports and is currently pursuing her Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) credential.
