Hi, I’m Meghan, founder of Stride, a private practice dedicated to helping athletes and performers unlock their potential and train a critical component of their performance toolbox: their mind.

Before mental performance consulting, I competed as an athlete first. I grew up on the ice and in ice hockey rinks around New England. I also found joy on the soccer field, golf fairway, and dance stage. Each experience shaped my understanding of sport and competition in a variety of ways, while pushing me to develop both physically and mentally.

My primary sport of ice hockey led me to the Maine seacoast where I attended the University of New England and played varsity ice hockey for the Nor’Easters. During my time at UNE, I soon found a passion for psychology, the intersection of the mind and body, and how our mindsets play a critical role in our ability to adapt to adversity, thrive under pressure, and perform our best when it matters most. I graduated from UNE in 2022 with a B.A. in Psychology, with minors in Coaching and Public Health.

Following undergrad, inspired by my keen interest in the “athlete’s mind", I pursued a M.A. in Sport and Performance Psychology at the University of Denver in Denver, Colorado. The two years I spent in CO fostered an even deeper connection to my personal athletic potential. I explored various mountain ranges, hiked countless miles, and learned to ski, all while pushing my mental fortitude in the classroom and within various consulting spaces.

During my time at DU, I gained invaluable experience working with high performing youth, teen, and young adult athletes ranging in sports from competitive swimming and soccer, to ice hockey and more. I have worked with individual clients, facilitated team sessions, and conducted virtual leadership workshops.

Stride was born from my passion of ice hockey, where every shift and stride demands purpose and precision, and the deeper meaning of the word itself: forward movement, growth, and progress. To me, taking a stride isn’t only about speed. It’s about intention, resilience, and continuous improvement.

Let’s find your stride, together, and keep moving forward.
