Lauren Wendland, PT, DPT

Lauren graduated from Quinnipiac University with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science, where she also competed in Division I soccer and served as a team captain. She continued her education at Quinnipiac, earning her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2025.

Growing up in Falmouth, Maine, Lauren played competitive soccer for a club in Massachusetts, gaining early exposure to both strength training and rehabilitation through injuries sustained while competing. These experiences gave her a unique perspective on the challenges of the recovery process and the importance of having the right care team.

Lauren was drawn to physical therapy through her own experiences as an athlete and patient, which inspired her to provide the same level of care and support she received throughout her rehabilitation journey. She finds it most rewarding to help individuals return to the activities they love—whether that means getting back on the field, rink, or in the pool, participating in outdoor activities such as running, hiking, and biking, or returning to work and daily life.

Outside of the clinic, Lauren enjoys spending time outdoors. Her favorite activities include wake surfing, swimming, snowboarding, biking, traveling, and spending time with family.
