Lloyd Beckett, DPT, SCS, ATC, CSCS
Owner/Founder, Physical Therapist
Dr. Beckett returns to his home state, having spent the majority of his career optimizing the health and performance of elite athletes across the country.
Prior to founding Dirigo Physical Therapy and Performance, Lloyd was the Head Athletic Trainer and Lead Physical Therapist for the Brooklyn Nets NBA franchise, after spending two seasons as the team’s director of physical therapy. He was awarded the NBA’s Assistant Athletic Trainer of the Year award in his first season with the team. Before joining the Nets, he worked with the U.S. Marine Corps Special Operations Command in North Carolina as a physical therapist, and he also spent two years as a physical therapist at the Vanderbilt Orthopaedic Institute in Nashville.
The Falmouth, Maine native has also spent time with the Boston Celtics, Indiana Pacers, New England Patriots, Providence College Friars, and the Brown University Bears. In addition to his current role in the clinic, Lloyd is also the Peak Performance Consultant for Colby College. He received his Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy degrees from Northeastern University, and a Master of Science in Athletic Training from Bridgewater State University. He is also recognized by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties as a Sports Specialist, and holds the Certified Strength and Conditioning Credential.
Lloyd and his wife, Chelsea, enjoy exploring beautiful Maine outdoors with their three boys.
Brianna Stagg, PT, DPT
Senior Performance Physical Therapist
Prior to becoming the Director of Physical Therapy and Senior Performance Physical Therapist at Dirigo, Brianna was working in the outpatient orthopedic world. In 2012, she received her undergraduate degree from the University of New England. In 2015, she graduated from Franklin Pierce University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Bree has extensive experience in post-surgical and the athletic orthopedic population. She is CrossFit Level 1 Certified Coach and dry needling certified. Having a great passion for exercise, both with a background in CrossFit and bodybuilding, Bree enjoys incorporating her manual skills, dry needling and exercise expertise to keep her patients functioning at their highest potential. Bree has been instrumental in developing a relationship with CrossFit Rising Tide and growing our Saco location. Secondary to this she splits her time between both our Portland and Saco locations.
Bree and her husband, Collin, can be found in the gym, golfing, and spending time with their dogs and exploring the Craft Beer and Maine food scene.
Mallory Morin, PT, DPT
Performance Physical Therapist
Prior to starting at Dirigo, Mallory received her undergraduate degree in Applied Exercise Science from the University of New England in 2016. She continued on to graduate school at UNE and received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in May 2019. Having a strong passion and background in exercise science, Mallory enjoys blending her clinical practice around progressive therapeutic exercise and manual therapy to return patients to their fullest potential and prevent future injuries. Her clinical experience includes treating patients with a variety of musculoskeletal and post-operative conditions of the spine, shoulders, hips, and knees. Mallory is Level 1 certified in Functional Dry Needling and she enjoys utilizing this as a tool in conjunction with progressive resistive strengthening. Being active and participating in sports starting at a young age, Mallory enjoys working with patients and athletes to promote healthier, stronger, and more active lifestyles and has a special interest in treating running related injuries.
Outside of work, Mallory enjoys running, cycling at Rêve, snowboarding, and exploring the local Portland food scene.
Josh Segal, PT, DPT, CSCS
Performance Physical Therapist
Josh Segal, PT, DPT, CSCS received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Delaware in 2016 and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of New England in 2020. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Josh has a wide variety of clinical interests within physical therapy. He has experience working with athletes, weekend warriors, patients post-surgery, and patients following a neurological event such as a stroke or traumatic brain injury. Josh is passionate about empowering each individual he works with to meet and exceed their goals.
Outside of work you can find Josh exploring everything Maine has to offer, from the beaches to the mountains, and talking about his favorite Portland restaurants. He also enjoys playing tennis/ pickleball, cycling, rock climbing, hiking, and hanging out with his dog Callie.
Haruka is the Office Manager at Dirigio Physical Therapy and has been with the company for over two years. She developed a passion for working within the healthcare sector early in her career and continues to enjoy working with the public. Haruka is originally from Japan but has lived all over the world. On her days off, Haruka enjoys picking sea glass on the beach and spending time with her family. Haruka is always a friendly call away to help with all your needs when accessing Dirigo Services.
Patient Service Representative
Yuki joins the Dirigo PTP team as a Patient Service Representative. She is a future physical therapy student who received her undergraduate degree from Sarah Lawrence College in 2015. Prior to working for Dirigo, Yuki worked in marketing as a retail photographer, and then in the healthcare industry. When she's not working, Yuki volunteers at Maine's local exotic shelters! In her spare time she enjoys photographing the Maine coast and playing with her 3 parrots.
